Message 'Setup has detected that unInstallShield is in use' when installing Pervasive.SQL 2000i

Symptom
When running the setup program for Pervasive.SQL 2000i or any Pervasive.SQL 2000i service packs, the following message is shown:

Setup has detected that unInstallShield is in use. Please close unInstallShield and restart Setup



Cause
The local user does not have sufficient permissions to run the sofware


Solution
Either log on to the PC as an administrator, or give the domain user local administration rights, then run the setup program again
