About "Removing records from the database using Database Utilities"
It is possible in Service Accent to delete individual records as long as there are no dependencies. There is no way to delete records in bulk or to delete records that have dependencies easily in Service Accent. Database Utilities provides a method of extracting and deleting such records

This step-by-styep article will demonstrate how to export data based on certain criteria and then how to delete that data from your database.

Exporting your data
  • Run Database Utilities, select the Export option and click Next
  • Select the table you wish to export

Specifying the criteria
  • Click Criteria to open the Criteria window
  • Select a field, an operator and a literal value to test, then click Add
  • Continue adding criteria and when you have finished, click Close

A record must pass all the tests you specify in order to be exported

Deleting the data
  • Tick the Delete the records that are exported option
  • Click Next to begin the export
  • After the data has been exported, you will be asked to confirm that you want the exported data to be deleted.
  • Click OK if you are sure you want to delete the data
  • Click Yes to confirm once again

You should check the exported data to ensure that this is the correct data. Once you delete the data from the table, it can not be restored
