Message 'Could not start the Crystal Reports engine'

When you attempt to run a report with Miracle Service Accent Service Pack 2 installed, you receive the following message:

Could not start the Crystal Reports engine

or an error 728

One or more of the Crystal Reports run-time components contained in Miracle Service Accent Service Pack 2 are not registered correctly.

From the Command Prompt, type the following:

  1. cd "\program files\common files\crystal decisions\2.5\bin"
  2. regsvr32 crqe.dll
  3. Click OK on the "succeeded" message
