Installing Pervasive.SQL results in an 'Installation was interrupted' message

Symptom
When you try to install Pervasive.SQL, InstallShield presents an "Installation was interrupted" error and setup quits.


Cause
If you are running Terminal Services, you must install Pervasive.SQL in install mode.


Solution
To install Pervasive.SQL, click Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs | Add New Programs | CD or Floppy | Next then browse to the Pervasive.SQL installation executable and follow the instructions.
