By using the Pervasive.SQL Monitor, you can monitor your active database connections and users. If you try to connect to your server via Terminal Services/Remote Desktop to run the Monitor, however, you may receive an Insufficient permissions error.
Pervasive.SQL Monitor is very sensitive to how it is run and will often not run in a Terminal Services/Remote Desktop session.
If you are running Windows Server 2003, you can connect in console mode as follows:
- Click Start | Run
- Type mstsc /console and click OK
- Log in as normal
You can also start the Pervasive.SQL Monitor on a workstation and click
Options |
Connect..., then enter the server name you are trying to connect to, your network user name and password, then click
OK.
