Run-time error 429 when using Control-P to print a list

Symptom
When you bring up a list, for example, View customers, View inventory and so on, and press Control-P to print it, you receive a run-time error 429.


Cause
This is caused by a printing component not being installed or registered.


Solution
Follow these steps to resolve the above issue:

  1. Click Start | Run, type cmd and click OK
  2. Type:
    cd "C:\Program Files\Service Accent"
    regsvr32 printdlg.dll

  3. Click OK on the DllRegisterServer in printdlg.dll succeeded dialog. If you receive any other message, contact your support provider
  4. Type
    exit
    to exit the command prompt
