When you configure the Sage Live Link from within Service Accent and click
Test Connection, you may receive the following error message:
Service Accent is unable to connect to Sage 50 Accounts:
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients
If your Sage 50 Accounts database is located on another machine on your network, check to see what path you have configure the Sage Live Link to use. If it uses a drive letter (for example, "X:\Sage"), replace it with a network (UNC) path (for example, "\\server\Sage"). Alternatively, if the path is already in UNC format, try mapping a drive letter and using that instead
If you are running Sage 50 Accounts 2009, Sage have provided a hotfix that may assist in addressing this issue. To obtain this, do the following:
- Click here to go the Sage support web site
- Log in if necessary
- Select Line 50 & Sage 50 Accounts
- Locate V2009 - Sage 50 Accounts 2009 SDO HotFix
- Click Download and follow the instuctions provided
