Cannot export reports to PDF

When trying to export a report to a PDF file the export fails and reports an error has occurred.

The exact error message varies depending on how the report is run and between reports.

Microsoft Windows update KB3102429 has been identified as the cause of this problem

Removing this update and restarting the computer restores the export to PDF functionality.

To remove this update:

  1. Open Programs and Features by "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features"
  2. View installed updates by clicking on "View installed updates"

  3. Search for KB3102429

  4. Uninstall the update

  5. Restart your PC

The Microsoft Update process WILL attempt to re-install the update again unless it is prevented.
Please seek advice from your IT support to ensure that this update is prevented from being re-applied.
